Peninsula College, a Washington State Community College, is located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula in northwest Washington. The Olympic Peninsula is a diverse blend of climates and natural wonders surrounded by the Pacific Ocean, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Puget Sound, and Hood Canal. At the center of the Peninsula lies the Olympic National Park and National Forest with snow and glacier covered mountain peaks and rich undeveloped forestland. The Peninsula also has a rich cultural heritage with ten Native tribes estimated to have lived in the region for more than 3,000 years.
Peninsula College is committed to recruiting faculty and staff who value the people and natural resources of our communities and share the guiding principles under which our college operates. Those principles emphasize teaching and learning, shared governance, respect for others, and personal integrity. In addition to preparing students for careers and transfer to baccalaureate programs, Peninsula College offers one applied bachelor degree and partners with several universities.
