If so, UW Dining’s Bay Laurel Catering may have the opportunity for you if you are looking for on-call banquet and catering service work. We are looking for some solid food and beverage servers who can be scheduled for events on the UW campus and surrounding area where Bay Laurel Catering provides full banquet services. If you have experience, we offer competitive hourly wages and a professional work environment where your customer service skills will add that polished presentation that we like our clients to notice with events.
Please understand that we do not accept tips or gratuity. You must have transportation to and from events.
What you’ll be doing:
Serving alcohol to patrons during catered events.
Posting a copy of the Liquor License near bar during catered events.
Accepting payments for drinks purchased via cash or credit card, making appropriate change when necessary.
Inventorying alcohol before and after events and communicating shortages to management.
Documenting customer feedback using department forms.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Must carry a class 12/13 certification to serve Beer, Wine and Spirits.
One year experience working as a bartender and cashier.
Must read and sign the in-house “Responsible Alcohol Beverage Service” policy.

A satisfactory outcome from reference check are required prior to hire.
