The Procurement Services Global & Card Services team has an excellent opportunity for a Compliance Analyst. This position will support and administer the purchasing and travel card programs for the University of Washington.The expertise required to fill this role must have an institutional level understanding of all card options at the university, to ensure that the card is the best method for paying. In addition, this role will monitor compliance, provide customer service and troubleshooting, and hold cardholders accountable to adhere to banking and university standards.Responsibilities:Procurement (ProCard) and Travel Card (Individual/Central) - Monitoring and Analysis* Serve as subject matter expert for payment methods at UW, collaborate with internal departments and external organizations to ensure the best payment methods are being used from a cost and functionality perspective* Analyze small dollar purchases and the impact it may have on the overall UW purchasing strategy * Investigate potential fraud activity associated with the cards* Identify and escalate exceptions that fall outside UW standards* Process approved requests for new cards, credit card limit increases, renewals/replacements* Process financial (i.e. Budget, Use Tax) change requests* Analyze card activity to identify opportunities for training or expansion of the program* Generate the delinquency report in PaymentNet and send off notifications to cardholders* Review separation list report from HR and cancel/close accountsCustomer Service and Troubleshooting* Serve as main point of direct customer support to resolve complex customer questions* Answer and respond back to phone/email customer inquiries* Assist with JP Morgan Chase PaymentNet online banking escalation (i.e. Log in assistance, password reset)* Provide support both remotely and chair-side to University employees * Answer general purchasing questions and concerns pertaining to the cards* Serve as liaison between UW cardholders and JP Morgan Chase related General* Participate in process improvements for the card programs, including transition from paper-driven production work to online processing and analysis with internal and external partners* Track and record metrics for Lean visual systems* Other duties as assignedAs a UW employee, you will enjoy generous benefits and work/life programs.
