American Assured Appraisers Inc., is an independent, privately owned, appraiser-run, national appraisal company. We’re looking for Certified/Licensed, FHA/non-FHA approved candidates to join our team to grow the brand regionally. We have a leadership opportunity for an Appraiser Relations Manager in Washington State.
The Appraiser Relations Manager guides the growth and development of the AAA appraiser team. Core Duties • Manage recruitment plan for on boarding new appraisers as new markets are entered. • Price negotiation with appraisers. • Provide summary analysis on reporting that affects the Appraiser Relations department. • Train new members of department on all facts of appraiser relations • Report appraiser related issues to senior manager to determine action plans for scenarios • Assist in planning to scale department for ease of growth • Participate in financial exercises and review to determine growth strategies • Promote best practices in the department • Work with Appraisal Review team to improve quality of appraisers used • Distribute projects accordingly to teams to affect change for Canada, Caribbean, US. • Assist department in succession planning • Participate in Management Meetings • Participate in Executive meetings as needed • Handle calls and emails from all appraiser companies • Conducts market analysis (price and performance) to make the best decisions surrounding appraiser ranking and distribution of appraisals. • Ensure company’s expectations of appraiser performance deliverables are met on key metrics • Plan and coordinate succession planning to meet the ongoing and changing business demands • Responds to Bank head offices on all items that are appraiser related • Manage client lists and ensuring that appraisers are removed/added as required based on the lists provided by lenders • Support Sales Staff with escalations. Including coaching the appraiser on how to avoid escalations in the future. • Managing appraiser accounts; addition of appraisers, insurance, accreditation, SLA’s and other data tracking • Coordinating new ranking projects for new clients and new appraisers. • Supporting Senior Manager with projects as needed. • Other duties as assigned.
• A complete understanding of the Real Estate Appraisal job function and accreditation • Must possess excellent communication skills, written and verbal • Must possess strong leadership capability • Full comprehension of the InHouse product offerings and systems. • Superior negotiation skills. • Understanding AMC and AMS operations functions at a management level. • Understanding of the industry and how external market factors affect our business. • Understanding of finance and basic economics • Strong multi-tasking skills • Prioritizing tasks in a fluid environment • Statistical analysis capability • Balancing company needs and managing appraiser’s desires • Proficient in Microsoft Office • Assist vendors while protecting organizational interests • Must be patient, understanding, empathetic
