We are currently hiring an experienced OR Contract & Implant Coordinator to join our exceptional Supply Chain team. The Supply Chain & Surgery departments thrive on teamwork and take great pride in the services they perform. The OR Contract & Implant Coordinator serves as a primary procurement point of contact to the operating room staff and seeks to reduce expenditures through effective supplier negotiations, cost modeling, and leveraging volume pricing discounts.
Facilitates contract management and prepares requests for proposal or bids while following established hospital policies and procedures.
Works to understand the needs of each surgical specialty and acts as a liaison between operating rooms staff, physicians, vendors and any other stakeholders.
Three (3) years of experience in medical purchasing / materials management. Experience in a surgical services setting strongly preferred, previous experience as an OR Tech will also be considered.
Ability to analyze financial and technical data and possesses a solid understanding of Supply Chain Management.
CMRP certification is required after 18 months of employment.
