Overlake Hospital Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Safety Coordinator! The Patient Safety Coordinator facilitates all patient safety activities to include coordination of Serious Event activities, MIDAS, reporting to the Washington State Dept of Health (DOH) and Joint Commision (JC), and other proactive patient safety responsibilities. This position also coordinates activities related to regulatory readiness throughout the organization.

Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
Must maintain licensure as appropriate to profession.
Requires a minimum of five years acute care experience. Previous risk management, patient safety, regulatory or quality experience preferred.
Training or experience in Patient Safety, Performance Improvement and Regulatory working with outside regulatory agencies preferred. Prefer certification in Just Culture, Disclosure and Team STEPP's. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Access.
