The UWMC Gift Shop has an outstanding opportunity for a full-time day shift Retail Clerk 2. The Retail Clerk 2 will perform clerical duties, retail selling, and provide customers with excellent service in a fast-paced gift shop. General job duties and responsibilities include: * Accurately operate registers for all transaction types. * Provide friendly and efficient customer service. * Assist customers in locating, selecting and purchasing various items. * Receive, check, price and stock retail goods and supplies. * Replenish merchandise and maintain displays and stock levels. Suggest reorders. * Order gift shop items such as sundries, balloons, candy, food/beverage. * Process phone orders for flora and gift items accurately and efficiently. * May make bank deposits. * Work with team members in a cooperative and supportive manner. * Assist in training new team members and volunteers. * Perform other duties assigned by Gift Shop Manager and Lead Clerk.
