Sound Community Bank is seeking a Branch Manager for our brand new branch in Belltown! The Branch Manager is responsible for sales, service, regulatory compliance, and the leadership of the branch team. The responsibilities of the Branch Manager include developing and maintaining sales and service culture, providing guidance to all aspects of the branch operations, and overseeing employee development. In addition, the Branch Manager ensures that established policies and procedures are adhered to, and that the branch business plan achieves budgeted objectives; both financial and non-financial. The Branch Manager is responsible for creating and maintaining a team environment and ensuring that the team is consistently providing clients with superior quality service.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree or banking school preferred. Minimum of 5 years with Retail banking and 3 years of supervisory experience. Must have strong leadership skills to balance Retail sales and customer experience, as well as customer and employee objectives. Skill competencies required include, but are not limited to: •Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills •Ability to achieve goals •Strong customer focus •Experienced leader with ability to develop and promote employees •Ability to provide cross training •Ability to delegate duties when necessary •Flexible with shift priorities •Ability to work both independently and as a team member •Practice ethical behavior and understand the need for confidentiality •Ensures all transactions are handled confidentially •Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment •Excellent verbal and written communication skills •Detail oriented •Branch hours to include weekends and occasional evenings •Must be an active community participant •A criminal and credit background check are required
